*Applicants may be exempt from attending certain modules if they qualify under either the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) or Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) scheme up to 60 credits.

How do I qualify?

Academic requirements:

A degree from a recognised UK or overseas institution, a postgraduate degree, or a professional qualification in a relevant discipline, or knowledge and skills at a university degree standard, normally through five years relevant work experience.

Applicants should be fluent in written and spoken English to study at postgraduate level.

English requirements:

IELTS 6.5 , TOEFL 600 or equivalent.

Applicants who meet one of the following criteria may be exempt from the English language requirement:

  • studied in English for at least a year
  • members of diplomatic staff who have undertaken prior courses in English to enable them to work in an English speaking environment.

Tracking your progress

You will be assessed on coursework, oral presentation and written and examination. You will also be required to submit a dissertation of about 12,000 words on an approved topic.
