Before you arrive
There are many things to consider before
moving to Norwich.
Moving to a new country can be both exciting and
challenging. To make your first few months in the UK
worry-free, we recommend you prepare yourself before you
arrive.
Important preparations
As soon as possible
- Have you paid full fees for your tuition, accommodation and
Uniplan insurance if applicable?
- Have you returned your arrival details form to admissions.finance@into.uk.com?
- Do you require an airport taxi transfer? If so, please complete
the airport transfer and credit card booking form.
- Have you booked your accommodation?
- Have you checked your passport is valid for at least six
months?
- Have you applied for and received your visa?
- If you are under 18 years old, have you filled out and returned
an under-18 form to admissions@into.uk.com?
One month before you arrive
- Have you organised cash and pound sterling travellers cheques
to bring with you?
- Do you know your airline's luggage allowance and have you
packed accordingly?
- Have you sent us your campus card application and two
passport-sized photographs?
What to bring with you
Have you packed all relevant original documentation or
certified copies including:
- INTO University of East Anglia offer letter
- INTO University of East Anglia CAS statement - if required
- English language test result (IELTS)
- passport
- evidence of sufficient funds to show the immigration office on
arrival - bank statements (for the last three months and stamped by
the bank) or sponsor's letter
- any other original documents/transcripts listed in your INTO
University of East Anglia visa letter, for example your high school
certificate or home university certificates. You will need these to
fully register and enrol
Have you got your documents for medical registration?
- immunisation history book
- UK Foreign Commonwealth Office Visa Tuberculosis Screening
Certificate (if you have one)
Have you put the emergency telephone numbers into your mobile
phone?
Do you have?
- photographs from home
- waterproof coat and shoes
- address and phone numbers of friends and family
- adaptor for UK electricity sockets
