What made you choose Manchester?
I think Manchester is very famous to Chinese people and that’s why I chose to come here.
What have you enjoyed about INTO Manchester?
I’ve enjoyed the classes that I have taken and the teachers too. It’s been nice making friends with the people I study with.
What are the teaching staff like?
The teachers are very funny! They teachers teach well and always give us examples.
What is your accommodation like?
I live in New Matlock house. It’s very comfortable and I’ve got a big room. I share my flat with four girls from China – we all cook together.
What do you want to do next?
The University of Manchester to do Telecommunications.
Has there been any help/support for you?
I first applied to the University of Manchester but they gave me a conditional offer. Now I know that if I pass this course I will get my place at the University. The teachers have been helpful at helping me to understand this.
What do you like about living in the UK/Manchester?
I like the climate – it’s not hot and not cold. I love shopping and end up going every weekend as the shopping is really good in Manchester.
What advice would you give to a student coming to study at INTO Manchester?
This is a good place and they should try to communicate with local people – it’s helpful to improve your English!
