Tracking your progress

Assessment is both formal and informal and the purpose of the assessment process is not simply to pass or fail students but to help them understand how to improve and build on their success. Progress is checked by continuous assessment of coursework and class tests.

The final grade for each course is based on a combination of coursework and final examinations. Students are assessed by a combination of methods which include:

  • essays
  • research papers
  • reports
  • writing projects
  • group and individual projects
  • portfolios
  • oral presentations
  • subject quizzes
  • class tests
  • problem solving exercises

How do I apply?

 

Apply online

You can apply online by filling out an application. This application is accessible through the green 'Apply now' button. You must include scanned versions of all important documents listed below. On receipt of your application we will make an assessment based on the requirements of the course.

Official required documents

  • Completed the application form in full and checked for accuracyEnclosed copy of passport for student (and dependents if applicable)
  • Enclosed copy of personal bank statement or affidavit of support and sponsors bank statement
  • Enclosed proof of high school completion in English
  • Enclosed proof of an adequate alternative insurance policy, if appropriate
  • Enclosed copies of visa, I-94, I-20 & current DSO information (Transfer students)
  • Enclosed Certificate of Finances (download below)

Remember you must present original documents in person upon arrival at INTO OSU center in Corvallis, USA before enrolling in classes.


What happens next?


If the application is successful, you will receive

  • An offer letter indicating the course of study requested
  • Verification of accommodation requested
  • An acceptance form

Confirm your place at INTO OSU

  • Sign and return the acceptance form
  • Send tuition/accommodation deposits (if required)
  • Send INTO OSU Student Health Insurance Plan or evidence of an adequate alternate accident and medical insurance policy.  Alternative health plans must meet or exceed coverage outlined by the INTO OSU Student Health Insurance plan.
  • All International students are required to submit the completed International Student Health Information Form before arrival on campus

Apply for your Visa


After you are admitted and have paid you deposit you will receive

  • A Letter of admission
  • Confirmed course date
  • INTO OSU I-20 (F-1 visa) or DS 2019 (J-1 visa)
  • Pre-departure Orientation Information
  • Invoice


You should obtain your visa and pay the fee balance. Accommodations will not be guaranteed until full payment is received.
