INTO CSU Undergraduate Pathway students are required to live on campus for their first two consecutive semesters and participate in the Global Village Learning Community in Parmelee Hall. Housing for INTO CSU Graduate Pathway, Academic English and General English students is provided in Westfall Hall, located on the CSU main campus, and Cambridge House Apartments, located adjacent to the CSU campus.

INTO CSU Undergraduate Pathway student accommodations

Parmelee Hall is a newly-renovated, suite-style residence hall that features our Global Village Learning Community. Learning Communities at CSU provide a helpful academic and social transition to the University. Hear from real students about what it is like to live in the Global Village:

Students who start in the fall semester will live in Parmelee Hall. Students who start in the spring semester will live in Parmelee or an adjacent residence hall.

Parmelee hall features:

  • Suite-style residence hall with two people per room
  • Each room has a sink and vanity; two rooms share a connecting bathroom with a shower and toilet
  • Co-ed floors with four women in one suite and four men in the next suite (men and women do not share bathrooms)
  • Single-sex floors are also available
  • Newly-renovated residence hall with updated lobby, student lounges, laundry facilities, student kitchens, an elevator, and renovated student rooms

Items that come in your room:

  • Adjustable bed frame (can be raised or lowered)
  • Extra-long twin mattress
  • Bed linens (sheet set, mattress pad, pillow, and comforter)
  • Bath towels (large towel, hand towel, and wash cloth)

INTO CSU Graduate Pathway and English Language student accommodations

Westfall Hall

Westfall Hall is a 12-story residence hall on campus, which offers great views of the mountains and campus. It is located on the north side of campus close to Moby Sports Arena, the CSU Recreation Center, bus stops, shopping, and restaurants. Living in Westfall Hall gives students the opportunity to experience classic US campus life and integrate with their peers from around the US and the world. In addition to residential staff on each floor, INTO CSU also provides dedicated programming and support staff to assist students with social and academic transition, create dynamic activities, and help with any student needs or questions. Rates include early arrival and Fall and Spring breaks, but Westfall housing is not available during the Summer semester. Over winter break students may leave their belongings but are not able to live in Westfall Hall. Alternative winter break housing is available at an additional cost.

CSU On-Campus Meal Plans 

Westfall Hall housing includes a meal plan, which is required with the housing. Students can choose from 10, 14, or 21 meals per week or opt for any meal at any time. Newly renovated Durrell Center is next door with a dining center, game room, and outdoor seating.

Cambridge House Apartments

Apartment housing for INTO CSU Graduate Pathway, Academic English, and General English students is provided in the Cambridge House Apartments, located adjacent to the CSU main campus. All apartments have one bathroom and two bedrooms, and students have the option of an individual bedroom or a shared bedroom. INTO CSU staff live in the apartments to provide personalized support, assist students with concerns, and offer activities to integrate INTO CSU students with the CSU campus community. Cambridge House has convenient access to the Fort Collins bus system (free with CSU student ID), grocery stores, and restaurants. 

Items included with your apartment: 

  • Furniture: sofa, table, chairs, coffee table, extra-long twin bed with mattress, wardrobe, dresser, and desk 
  • Appliances: window blinds, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, refrigerator, and microwave 
  • Bed sheets, pillow, comforter, and bath towels 
  • Kitchen utensils, rice cooker, tea kettle, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery 
  • Weekly laundry service for bed linens and towels, and bi-weekly housekeeping

*The accomodation deposit is refundable at the end of the program minus any costs for any damages or missing items, exceptional cleaning or fines, which have been incurred at the accommodations, which are discovered during occupancy or once an inspection has taken place after the student’s departure. INTO CSU will repay any monies owing within 60 days of the housing contract end date.

CSU Off-Campus Meal Plans 

INTO CSU students who live in Cambridge House may purchase an off-campus meal plan when they have arrived at Colorado State University and have obtained a student ID card. Colorado State University has six dining centers and two express locations, which offer a wide variety of options, including American, international, vegetarian, vegan, and halal menu options. Gluten, lactose, nut, soy, and shellfish-free options are also available. CSU Dining Services has a registered dietitian who can work with students with special dietary needs. Off-campus meal plans do not expire as long as students are at CSU. 

There are many benefits of campus dining, including: 

  • No cooking, washing dishes, or shopping for groceries
  • No need to carry cash – meal plans are on the RamCard (student ID card)
  • Maximum flexibility – eat at any dining center and take meals to go (except during summers)
  • Dining options available from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. 

The 2013-2014 costs for the off-campus meal plans

  • 80 Meals $672

Resources for students living off campus

Off-Campus Life offers many services for students who are not living in CSU Housing, including events to find roommates, a housing fair, and locker rental options. Off-Campus Life also offers CSU Rideshare, which gives students the ability to make carpool arrangements quickly and securely.
